Student anonymity policy

• Anonymous to students by default: public posts and comments do not show legal name, university email address, or student number.
• Not anonymous to authorized internal staff when required for abuse, legal, or imminent harm investigations.
• Not anonymous when disclosure is legally required or necessary for emergency safety response.

Retention and deletion

• Active account data is retained while the account is active.
• After account deactivation, personal data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized within 30 days unless legal hold applies.
• Security and audit logs may be retained for up to 12 months.

Analytics and cookies

• Essential cookies and local storage keep you signed in and remember preferences such as theme and whether you completed first-run tips.
